Don’t buy a Dyson buy this!

iRobot.com are selling a Vacuuming Robot called Roomba. This domesticated droid is fitted with sensors and will automatically figure out where needs cleaning.

The Roomba docks itself once it’s finished cleaning to recharge. Like ED 209 this robot cannot handle stairs however it does have a sensor built in so it doesn’t fall down them.

These robots retails between $149.99 – $349.99 depending which model you buy.

Upsettingly Will Smith doesn’t feature in any of iRobot.com’s advertising.

These ports would be used primarily for providing electrical power to devices, however in theory they could connect to some sort of domestic computer system that could interface with all your houses devices (fridges, entertainment system, vacuum cleaner, robot pets, etc). Many modern cars have sophisticated computer systems built into them so why not include a few USB ports as well? Not only are USB ports more compact than traditional plugs but it would also prevent you needing adaptors for using electronic devices abroad. [...]
