MSN messenger has a mind of its own!

I often have MSN messenger running on my PC for a number of reasons:

It starts-up when the machine starts-up
Its refuses to let you close it unless you shut outlook, Internet explorer and about 20 other Microsoft programs
I occasionally use it to chat to people online
